Direct orders from the President of FSA (owner of VisionTech) is that at no time should you use a derailleur cable as a replacement for their Aero Brake Levers (even though the ends are identical and his reps have been telling consumers that it's ok...). He promised to make sure that his customer service reps will be aware of this fact from here on out. I was told that QBP will be stocking single cables for 2006 instead of cable and housing sets. I just wonder how many folks are out there riding with derailleur cables instead of brake cables....scary.

I had the same problem w/ my Giant carbon stem and Profile Carbon X Pro. Problem solved when I changed to a Syntace stem. I had to lose the carbon stem though. You would think THEY would consider these things in the manufacturing process.
