Just a heads-up that I now have limited quantities of the latest version of RogueMechanic Shim Kits for Campagnolo Ultra-Torque systems. These shims have a lower profile (O.D) that make them less apparent post installation. Still available for both English and Italian bottom brackets. I am holding steady on the price for now, even though there is significantly more machining involved... I'd get your orders in before I change my mind. This way to the store...
Boy do I wish that I had, had these shims on the first UT we installed. Never mind making a dime on the labor of installing and uninstalling, installing and uninstalling this set up on that SSLX. I just couldn't for the life of me believe that the result of my installation was correct. So much wailing and gnashing of teeth! Now, years later I feel better about taking just a light fly cut off the bb face and telling customers that it is what it is. I would install these shims for a few of my very favorite customers (Oddly none of the friendly yeoman racers around here can afford Campy?)but I would charge probably $120 to do so. I'm curious what you charge to install the wavewasherectomy?
Side note, I see in the new Park catalog That there is a UT bearing puller. I had to make my own and I would assume you did as well. How did anyone at Campy think that sending cranks in for bearing replacement was going to be tolerated? God I love/hate/am Italian.
