Here's a quick video of a Campagnolo Super Record Ultra Torque crankset that I just installed onto a Scott Addict that has a BB86 carbon bottom bracket shell. I used the Campagnolo Ultra Torque BB86 Adapter and installed everything to spec... Normal?
Hello Tom, I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues with the UT system on your S-Works Roubaix. After looking into the specs of that frameset, I found that the Specialized OSBB bottom bracket shell design that they use is actually the same dimensions as the SRAM PressFit 30 (PF30) and not BB30... This being said, the current shim kits that I make will not work with anything other than the standard threaded english and Italian bottom brackets. As mentioned in my last email to you, I am currently working on shim kits for BB86, BB30, and PF30 to address the problems that folks are having with UT on bikes with the above mentioned "standards". Thanks for writing! -John

Just ordered your shim kit. Am having the problems you describe with Specialized Roubaix S-Works with BB30 carbon shell, Campy adapters, Super Record 11 spd. In order to mount the Campy BB30 adapter, the LBS had to grind off two ridges inside the shell b/c the Campy adapters were a little deeper than normal BB30. The LBS is a Specialized Concept store, and did the grinding on Specialized's tech support instructions. Is there anything I should know about the installation of the shim kit using the press-fit adapter cups?
